Semi-natural Cultivation of Sweet fish and Trout
Every summer, the Kamikatsura River used to produce a large number of sweetfish. This used to be the case until about 20 years ago, but now it has changed. The number of sweetfish has decreased dramatically. I wish I could eat sweet fish as I used to! With this simple idea in mind, we are trying to cultivate sweetfish in an environment very close to nature.
Deer and Wild Boar
Deer and wild boar are harmful animals that destroy fields, but did you know that their fresh meat is actually surprisingly delicious when cooked well? Although Hironourin does not have a meat processing license, we will work together with local hunters and meat processors to provide a place where people can enjoy delicious local gibier cuisine.
